MySpace and Facebook

I guess I am to old to be wowed by these sites. I did create a Facebook page but I hesitate to put anything personal on public sites. My niece was contacted by a sex offender just recently on her MySpace page along with many of her high school classmates and is without her family computer while the Sheriff tries to prosecute the offender. He was able to contact her even though her website was set to private so beware. I would rather do real stuff instead of spending a lot of time posting about it. Just my two cents.

iTunes and Yahoo podcasts

I have been using these resources for a couple of years. Both are good tools with some limitations to end users. Excellent for free access to various topics about anything you can think of but the content is widely variable.

Zoho Writer

I like this program. Ha ha ha! →It makes things easier than Word!

Wikis

Looked at many wikis but many are out of date or just links to other websites. Maybe I am just not into the wiki thing but I can see how it could be useful.

I am learning new things today with Angel the Tsarina of Technology. Woo hoo!!!

Played with Bubblr

I have played with Bubblr which creates comic strips from Flickr photos. Tried some other mashups like mappr but really have not liked the results. Oh well.
